Tool

You have a home. Then we are done.

Congratulations. Below is how you switch off your alerts, what you still need to arrange this week, and what we can help you with after that. In that order, because the first one matters most, and it is the only button on this site that makes us happy too.

What happens to your days

Giving away is allowed

If you have paid search pass days left, you may give part of them to someone still searching. Not because it does anything for us, but because it is the only sensible thing to do with leftover days.

The alerts stop the moment you press the button. The days you already paid for, you keep.

What we do do

  1. Switch your alerts off. Immediately, the moment you press the button.
  2. Nothing more charged. That was not going to happen anyway: a pass stops by itself. The days you already paid for, you simply keep.
  3. Delete your documents. The search is over, so we no longer need them.

And then you may give your remaining days to someone who is still looking. Not because it does anything for us, but because it is the only sensible thing a house-hunter can do with leftover search pass days.

Also under: I can sign

Is this rent allowed

Before you sign: the points decide whether this is free sector and what the rent may be. Too high tends to show up only afterwards.

Rent check

Your ID, masked

Only now do you hand over a copy: citizen service number crossed out and "copy for rental application" written across it. A landlord may not ask for your number and you don't have to give it.

What they may ask

Two things at the key handover

Sign the inspection report and record the meter readings, with photos. You cannot catch up on those two later and they decide your deposit.

The list with deadlines

Alerts off

One button and it stops. No notice period, we are not a gym. Days you have left you may give to someone still searching.
