How it works
Three choices. Then we keep an eye out.
- Where do you want to live?
Choose a town or city and, if you like, the neighbourhoods where you want to search.
- What suits you?
With a Search pass, choose your rent limit, rooms and preferences. A free account follows the free providers in your area.
- Where will your alerts arrive?
Choose your channel and check receipt with a test alert. We keep an eye out for you.

A look at the listings
A selection of recent listings with photos. Each home shows its current status. Always check availability and conditions with the provider.
The team behind OpenSein
We read your application.
Now we send you an alert.
We are estate agents, property specialists and developers. For years we sat on the other side of the house hunt. We assessed applications, held viewings and signed thousands of rental contracts.
There we saw house hunters pay to come across better, while it often made little difference. That is why we built OpenSein: alerts, digital guidance and preparation based on our practical knowledge, so you know where and how to respond yourself.
Less refreshing. More time for your life.
- Thousands of rental contracts signed
- Hundreds of homes sold
- Every working day still busy with new listings
Free or Search Pass
Choose how much you want to follow
Start free with one to a few providers per area and one channel. A Search Pass unlocks all connected providers, every filter and your alert in three places at once. You buy a fixed term that ends automatically.
Compare the Search Pass and prices
The same alert round for everyone. Paying never buys priority.
Searching together? One pass covers all three of you. How searching together works
Good to know
What do I get for free?
You get alerts from one to a few providers in your area, on one channel and without filters. That is a small part of what opens up. With a Search Pass you follow them all.
Will a Search Pass get me an earlier alert?
No. Free and Search Pass alerts go out in the same round. A Search Pass adds providers and filters. Delivery to your device also depends on the channel and your connection.
Does OpenSein arrange a home for me?
No. As your digital rental search agent, OpenSein helps you find listings and prepare. You register and respond with the provider, who sets the conditions and decides who gets the property. You arrange viewings there too. We do not guarantee a home.
Make room for your search
